WHAT IF MY PACKAGE ARRIVES DAMAGED FROM SHIPPING?
If your package arrives damaged from shipping, please follow these important steps: 1) Photograph the box, packing material and damage on the computer (5-10 photos). 2) Contact us immediately within 48 hours. 3) Save all packing material until instructed to discard them. 4) Do not turn on your machine until instructed from Double Dex. Failure to follow each of these steps may affect all warranties, return policies, replacements and refunds.
FAST & FREE SHIPPING
We provide fast and free shipping to all 50 states via USPS Priority. Shipments are processed within two business days after payment has been cleared. Once an order has shipped, a tracking number will be sent to you.
Double Dex, LLC is not responsible for any lost packages or damage that occurs when shipped back to us. We recommend adding “signature required” for your protection, and insurance is available. For your protection, back up your files before shipping. Additional shipping charges are not refundable. Please do not ship back to us without first contacting us for authorization. We will not pay for or reimburse any additional shipping expenses. We will only ship to your confirmed shipping address that you selected during the checkout process.
To honor our warranties and return policies, we do not ship outside the USA. When an item leaves the USA, all warranties and return policies are voided.
DO YOU OFFER WARRANTIES?
We care about our customers and machines, and customer satisfaction is our number one priority. Your purchase automatically comes with five Warranties and Return Policies: Warranty, Return, Replacement, Exchange and our 6 Month At Cost Repair (see below). We also sell 1 Year Extended Warranties. Contact us immediately if you desire to return it for any reason. Item must be returned in the same condition.
30 Day Warranty Policy
If the machine malfunctions within 30 days, contact us as immediately for resolution to your satisfaction. We pay the shipping up to a pre-authorized cost for priority shipping back to us with a shipping carrier of our choice. Warranty claims are for hardware issues only. We are happy to advise on software or OS issues if possible.
30 Day Return Policy
If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason, you may return it for a refund within 30 days, less a -$40 restocking fee. Buyer is responsible for paying the shipping on returns. Refunds are processed within 72 hours upon receiving it back, after it’s been verified and inspected for damage.
30 Day Replacement Policy
All machines have wear (small dings, scratches, marks, etc.). Everyone’s threshold of acceptability is different. We scrutinize each machine, and if a part doesn’t meet our quality standards, we replace it. If you’re not happy with the cosmetics, you may return it for a replacement (shipping charges will be at your expense).
30 Day Exchange Policy
You can exchange it for a different model within 30 days if you’d like (shipping charges will be at your expense). Simply contact us and we’ll help you pick the best machine
6 Month At-Cost Repair Warranty
As we care about our customer and machines, A 6 Month At-Cost Repair Warranty is included from the date of purchase. We do not charge for diagnosis, labor or for profit, you pay only our wholesale cost of any parts that are needed. Typically our cost is 1/3 the cost of Apple repairs or 1/2 the cost of a third party repair facility. We provide repairs at the lowest cost possible, utilizing our refurbishing resources and platform. You make all decisions about your computer at every step. Customer pays the return shipping, then we pay to ship it back to you. This platform applies to accidental damage as well.
DO YOU COVER ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE?
If you would like accidental damage covered, please buy an insurance policy specifically for your laptop (we suggest using SquareTrade).
ARE THERE ANY WARRANTY EXCEPTIONS?
These warranties do not include or protect against direct physical damage, though if you drop the computer, break the screen or spill water on the computer, we will diagnose the damage for free (within 6-months from date of purchase) and give you the best deal that we can on a repair. If the bottom case of the machine is removed for any reason without our authorization, or if any parts are removed from the computer, all warranties will be voided. We will not reimburse or pay for any 3rd party repairs.
The warranties do not apply to : (a) consumable parts, such as batteries, unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship; (b) to cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents and broken plastic on ports; (c) to damage caused by use with another product; (d) to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, liquid contact, fire, earthquake or other external cause. When an item leaves the USA, all warranties and return policies are voided.
